Itinerary

Day 1 (Packed L, D)

0630am   Pick up from your hotel for leisurely drive to Kinabalu Park at 1,500m

0800am   Arrive at Kinabalu Park HQ. (It takes about 1hr 45 min from Kota Kinabalu to the Park HQ)Pre-check in at Mountain Torq’s Kinabalu Park office, register and make payments at Kinabalu Park’s officesMeet your appointed Sabah Parks’ mountain guide
0830am   Start hiking up Mt Kinabalu from Timpohon Gate @ 1,866m

1430pm   Arrive at Pendant Hut @ 3,289m and settle in

1500pm   Attend the mandatory via ferrata safety briefing in Pendant Hut and meet your Mountain Torq Trainer

1600pm   Cut-off time for via ferrata safety briefing.

1800pm   Dinner at Laban Rata’s canteen

2100pm   Lights out



Day 2 (Breakast)


01:30am Wake up for supper and pack up

02:00am Hike up to Low\\\'s peak @ 4,095m

05:30am Summit Low\\\'s peak and catch the beautiful sunrise

05:45am Descent Low\\\'s peak

07:00am Meet with your via ferrata trainer at Pendant Hut and start with Via Ferrata Teaser

1100am   Check out of Pendant Hut and descend to Timpohon Gate with your Sabah Parks’ mountain guide

1600pm   Arrive at Timpohon Gate. (estimated time) & return to Kota Kinabalu

You may drop by at Mountain Torq’s Kinabalu Park office to buy some souvenirs.
